Why does the MASK look like DICK TRACY?

The Answer is simply, CREATORS of THE MASK in 1980s were VERY INSPIRED by DICK TRACY from 1930s.

And my Point is, YOU Can MAKE a MILLION $ Franchise by Taking Inspiration of DECADES older IPs. Nobody's Gonna Come to SUE you, because, your Characters look INSPIRED.

It's INSANE, when I hear this from some A-Hole Publishers or their Dumfuk Editors, "Hey, we can't PUBLISH this , Because, it looks like XYZ from 40 years back."
NO. Just Because a Character looks INSPIRED or a HOMAGE, it doesn't Mean it's a COPY, or can attract Legal Battle.
Nobody Came after THE MASK, even if the MASK and EDGE CITY looks EXACTLY like DICK TRACY and his World of Noir DETECTIVE Story.

Nobody came after STAR WARS, eevn when it seemed Very Much INSPIRED by STAR TREK

Homage is good, INSPIRATION Creates AMAZING, SHOCKING and BREATHETAKING IPs. Today's Creators and Especially A-HOLE Editors/Publishers should look into the PAST of Great Characters, which Might ACTUALLY CREATE Something SHOCKINGLY NEW, instead of making whatever PROPAGANDIST BULLSHIT is being followed in Today's TRENDS.

I support OLD INSPIRED, ENTERTAINING STORIES, WAY MORE than Propagandist, Non-Entertaining, Political GARBAGE that Entertainment Companies are trying to Push.
